Up there...you feel blessed, you feel content !

Journeys are one of the best parts of anyone's world. Every morning I get up and feel blessed with a simple thought that I'm alive. Yes, I'm alive. I am witnessing one of the best one could ever ask for. I'm seeing what everyone's seeing. I'm here, I'm here in this real world. So much you can do to feel content, make the most and simply live. Live free, live happy.

And you know, life's there. It's been there for ever. So, while living and growing up, why not love. Love life, dream and feel blessed.

May be, some of these will have something to say, something to explore from you.

But then, when I start, I start with me. My life's everywhere. I get to dream sometimes, I get to explore sometimes and sometimes, I get to travel as well. Get to travel the world, get to fly and that moment is beyond explanation. Flying above the clouds is so surreal, so fascinating..you simply smile. Smile to the world below, smile to the never ending thrills of human enthusiasm and what not. Life is too good sometimes..

As if, you're dreaming...

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
- Edgar Allan Poe

And it rises, sets and rises again....u can't ask for more..

Global warming and the melting lake !

"Q:What do you think National Geographic explorers will be exploring in 100 years?

A:Mysterious, ancient, underwater cities, lost cities with exotic names like New Orleans, New York, Washington, D.C., and Tokyo."

See..the guys came all the way from the west, went all the way up and did some serious research. The melting lake yielded some serious data. The research might help make the decisions right. The figures that were provided to people might give some insights to 'where we stand'.

But someone's gotta decide. Or we all gotta decide. Global warming is a burning issue, all over, and here is a small project I had an opportunity to get involved with. Look forward towards such projects in the future.

One story out of my many stories !!

Alright !!

Alright, I'm here, I'm here sharing what I loved. I'm here telling what's there from me. I love exploring. I love reading, I love studying..experimenting..sharing and this is what I did while I was enjoying the journeys. Journeys to places, journeys to the pitch black no wheres..journeys that were undertaken alone and what not.

A beautiful PhotoBook

Things are changing and so are the preferences. I used to love reading hardcovers but then the introduction of eBooks compelled me to switch to the e-readers and then eventually to the eBooks. These are the books you can enjoy. I'm exploring more through my photographic journey and there are more to come. But for now, this is what I thought of sharing.

Am I advertising myself ?
Hmm.. I don't know. But yes, I'm at least telling what I've done. I'm at least telling one story of my many stories that are still there to be told : )

The Valley of Dreams !

Look, I don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive you've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you're not alive.
-Mel Brooks

Somewhere..in the 'Valley of Dreams'

I've always wanted to be somewhere, somewhere far, far from myself where I can sit and sit to see beyond I could see. Wanted to touch the clouds, get lost inside the abstract existence that one could imagine and here I was. I finally reached the 'Valley of Dreams', the Valley I've always wanted to be in, always wanted to explore.

That was an early morning. I packed my stuffs that I thought I would need once I was there. And as I approached that city, it slowly started to fade in. My conscious started to tell me, probably, this was it. Came a long way to discover the lone city, the lone valley full of nature, full of silence. Silence that was different, different from usual. Many come, pass through it everyday and very few notice eyes that stare. The eyes of the valley that stare at you and ask, what are you here for.

Here for ?? That's probably an odd question but yes, it stared. Stared and asked me 'why was I there for? I had no choice regarding not to ask myself and then I realized, I couldn't come up with a satisfying answer. Maybe I was there to discover, to discover the one that's been within for many long years.

I'm a stranger, as always. Been a stranger and that's my identity since long. Stranger who has been a stranger to the ones who've loved him. So, here I was, in solitude and with a hope that I'll discover things. Things that'll cherish myself for long days ahead.

I see Michael Jackson in him !

Another Journey and some interesting stories, views and thoughts. Life's on the wheels : )

A home by the hill

Couldn't pass by so I had to stop and capture the view. The home stands out among others and I imagine, how the people living there would feel to get up every morning to witness a pure nature.

A cuppa tea and some eggs !

Highways offer variety. Variety and combination that you could hardly imagine in a regular life. Well, a cuppa tea and some eggs ain't that rare combi but thought of recommending you people to try this out if you're venturing through Nepali Highways.

I see Michael Jackson in him :p

The boy was happy. He made sure that he was smiling when I was taking his pictures. A cheerful soul and a MJ fan  : p

Eat, Drink and Be Aware; Nothing else !

Sadhu SitaRam watches vehicles pass by.

Journeying through Highways has become one of my favorite hobbies lately. I ride. I ride through valleys, cultures, places and meet people. Meeting people and sparking a conversation is fun. Fun because then you get to know different insights. Insights about life, journey and perceptions.

I met Sadhu SitaRam around a week ago. He was babbling about almost everything I could imagine. He had answers for commodities, education and wealth. I could only smile while listening to him. I had a long journey ahead so I decided to conclude the talk by asking, 'what's life?'.

'Eat, drink and be aware; nothing else', Sadhu SitaRam shrugged. Maybe he's right or I don't know.

I noted his address to send him his photograph. His journey towards Pashupatinath and then somewhere he doesn't know left me thinking all my way..........!!

'...between these two unknowns', says Sadhu SitaRam !

Birth and death; we all move between these two unknowns.
- Bryant H. McGill

I didn't know he loves to choreograph his own pose; sometimes  : )

P.S. These snaps are due to Sadhu SitaRam.

(Update: The snaps were mailed to Sadhu SitaRam. Hope he finds them, finds them soon, finds them in good health)
